I recently stayed at Candlewood Suites in Colonial Heights for a week-long trip. The amenities were exactly what I needed, including free washers for laundry and a small store with affordable frozen food options. The bedroom suite was spacious and well-furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen and nice towels and linens. Despite some reviews mentioning a noisy train, I found that it was not often and not intrusive at all. The gym and laundry facilities were satisfactory, and I have to mention the delicious food from the nearby Jamaican restaurant called VA Flavors. I was really impressed with Candlewood Suites and would definitely stay again.
Would recommend this hotel.
